Ok fellow pikemen, this season our annual region “fish-in”
will be held on Weir Wood Reservoir on Sunday 8th March 2015…… I
have provisionally secured 8 boats for the day, although bank fishing is available
for those wishing to do so…. YOU will need to contact Mike at the fisheries
office tel. 01342 820650 to confirm your attendance (state that you are part of
PAC Region 30/60 Pike fishing party) Tickets will be issued on the day… Discount prices are
as follows as long as you book 3 weeks in advance!.... Please book as soon as
possible in order to secure your place for the day!

All boats are fully equipped with outboard motor, oars,
anchor and life jackets.
As this is a weekend fixture, we will be sharing the
reservoir with sailing craft, but these are restricted to designated areas
only. There is ample parking, tackle
shop and café on site. Cancelations due to adverse weather conditions will
result in an alternative future date being offered….. Please check with the
fisheries office the day before travelling if things are looking a bit iffy.
The Rules – we are very fortunate in that the only fishery restrictions
imposed on us, are that Mike has requested that all hooks are semi-barbed…that’s
it, and that’s all!... Live baiting is
allowed under the strict condition that all baits are to be caught on site! All participants must be fully paid-up
members of the PAC and places only available to region 30/60 fraternity. Each member will be responsible to record/declare
their catch and the winner having caught the greatest overall weight will be presented
with the regional trophy.
